How do the boas core values come into your coaching?

Our clients, either as individuals or as organisations have a lot of resources at their disposal, they have a lot of power to have an impact upon people’s lives, and they therefore also have a lot of responsibility in how they use that power and those resources.

We work with people who have power invested in them - whether by their role, by the resources that they have available to them or by their personal power and charisma. We want to enable our clients to use their power wisely, and with awareness. We don’t preach. We generally don’t talk about our own values at all, during the coaching work. Ethical and environmental awareness arise naturally out of the dialogue, the leader’s reflection on her or himself and a growing sense of connectedness to larger systems.
