How to become a boas professional certified coach™


To apply for the boas professional coach certification™ - please complete our online application form. Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email indicating whether we feel that our programme is a good fit with your current learning needs. If so, you will enter the second stage of the selection process, which is a 30-minute telephone interview with a member of our core faculty. To ensure an optimal learning environment, each cycle of boas professional coach certification™ is limited to a maximum of 12 participants. We encourage you to apply early.


£6,600 for the complete programme including the via™ license fee. This fee includes teaching, facilitation, assessment, course materials and refreshments. Whilst participants are responsible for their own accommodation and meals, we are happy to assist you with your arrangements. The programme fee also includes the one-time boas licence fee of £600 (plus VAT). The license gives boas professional coach certification™ graduates the right to offer via™ coaching and to purchase via™ coaching tools. Eligibility to retain this licence is dependent upon successful completion of the certification process. metavision™ is the boas approach to professional coach supervision. boas professional coach certification™ participants who choose to invest in metavision™, benefit from a 50% discount on their first six sessions. Participants may take advantage of this discount as soon as they have registered for the course and their fee has been received in full.

Payment and refund

Accepted applicants receive a written acceptance letter followed by two invoices. The first invoice is for the non-refundable deposit and the second invoice is for the full course fee. If the applicant decide to accept the place, payment of the non-refundable deposit is due within 30 days of the tax date printed on the invoice. This deposit reserves a place for the applicant on the upcoming cycle of boas professional coach certification™, until 60 days before the programme start date. 

In the case that boas accepts an application to boas professional coach certification™ less than 60 days prior to the programme start, the acceptance letter and invoice for the full course fee are sent together. In this instance, the course fee must be received within one week of the invoice being sent. In all cases, the course fee must be received in full before a participant is permitted to attend the programme.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations which are notified in writing, 60 days or more prior to the start of the programme, allow for a full refund, minus the non-returnable deposit. For cancellations notified less than 60 days prior to the start of the programme no refund is made. In the event that a face-to-face meeting must be cancelled due to an unforeseen event (such as natural disaster or illness) the dates will be re-scheduled in consultation with the participants.


Participants may be self-sponsored or sponsored by your organisation. At least 50% of our students are funded in part or in full by an employer. If you are applying for a place and wish to discuss how best to present your case to your organisation, please be in touch.  


The cycle forms an integral learning experience. Successful graduation from the programme is dependent on full attendance and participants are expected to attend all the face-to-face modules consecutively. However, under certain circumstances, we may be able to arrange for you to attend a module during the following cycle. boas professional coach certification™ alumni may repeat modules at a 50% discount, space permitting.
